Revising game text

Story version

Whenever a student views a completed game, they will see a My version tab that shows the text of the final story.

The student can revise and save the text. They can also copy and paste the revised text elsewhere.

Revision moderator view

As a teacher, if you look in one of your completed games, you'll see a new column labelled Revised versions.

When a student saves their version, a tick will appear in that column. Click the tick to see the revised version on the right.

You can also download all saved versions.

Export version

  • Revisions don't affect the original story, and students can't revise their original responses. This feature is only about branching off from the final story.
  • Teachers can also write their own versions (e.g. to show on the projector) but can't save them.
  • Students can save as often as they like. You will always see the last saved version.
  • If you want a spell checker, we encourage everyone to use the spell checker built into the web browser.
