Setting up your school account

Registering your school on Frankenstories lets you buy discounted subscriptions for your teachers and see how Frankenstories is being used in your school.

You can't use the same email to register both a school and a teacher.

The easiest way to add teachers to your school is to give them the school code.

You can find your school code on your main school panel page, underneath the links to teacher, student, and subscription information.

  • They can enter this when they make a teacher account to automatically link to your school.
  • If they already have a teacher account, they can enter it on their Teacher Panel page.

You can change your school code in the "School Profile" page if it gets too widely shared. (This won't affect teachers who have already joined your school.)

You can also invite teachers manually, by entering their email address on the Invite Teachers page.

  • Teachers who are new to Frankenstories will get an email prompting them to finish creating their account. Once they have created an account, they will automatically be linked to your school.
  • Teachers who already have a Frankenstories account will be added to your school when you submit the invite.

When you invite a teacher to your school using their email address, you can assign them a specific subscription.

You can also leave the subscription field blank if you'd prefer not to assign a subscription to that teacher just yet.

If a teacher already belongs to another school, they will need to get that school to remove them before they can join your school. (Removing teachers can be done from the Teachers section of the school panel.)

Once teachers have joined your school, you will be able to see information about their account, such as their subscription status, and the number of games, students, and groups they have.
