Write about this picture and use at least five prepositional phrases. As you write, think about:
- the types of meanings we can create with these phrases (place, direction, time, why or what for, who or what with, in what way etc)
- chaining and nesting prepositional phrases
- turning processes into things by using -ing or question words, and
- using prepositional phrases to expand on detail.
Here's a snippet to give you some ideas, but don't worry about modelling it too closely. Write whatever you want, just see how much you can do with prepositional phrases.
