We've published a Teaching Persuasive Writing with Frankenstories lesson on Writelike to support the new persuasive writing game prompts collection.
The persuasive lesson is a working draft and the content is skeletal compared to the argument writing lesson, but it answers basic questions you might have about the persuasive game prompts, such as:
- What do we mean by persuasive context (speaker, issue, audience, moment, goal)?
- What are character, emotion, & logic rhetorical modes?
- How does "persuasive writing" relate to "argumentation"?
- What do we mean by "persuasive narrative"?
- What are the key features of specific persuasive genres?
We'll add more detail and examples to this lesson soon—but first, we want to publish some informational and lyrical prompt collections!
