Single-verb actions

As we've said, at the heart of any verb group is a verb, and sometimes a sentence has one verb group which consists of only a single verb.

Here are some examples of sentences with only a single verb:

So I unfolded Auggie’s little slip of paper.

The smoke from the three guns floated upward in the night air.

He kept thousands of turkeys in an orchard full of apple trees.

Write a snippet of your own using a single verb. (Use unfolding Auggie's slip of paper if you need a model.)

Write another one. Make sure you don't accidentally use more than one verb!
