This lesson explores emotion (or pathos) as a primary lever of persuasion. Using examples from advertising, politics, and history, we look at how speakers can move audiences towards or away from something, make them grow still, or even throw them off balance. This is a chunky lesson, probably most suitable for Grades 7+.
