Customer restaurant review

Customer reviews on websites are often blunt and straight to the point.

Did they have a good time? What was the food like? The portions? The service? The price? Parking? A customer review can talk about all of these things, or focus on one or two that they want to talk about. Almost always, a customer review will tell a little story about their visit as well (‘visited for the 4th time’, ‘we went for lunch’, ‘it’s our local for family dining’).

Finally, customers tend to write reviews if they’re really happy or really upset with their experience, so you’ll often see extremes of emotion. The snippet and the example show both extremes.

MIZU JAPANESE RESTAURANT

5 stars

Absolutely excellent!

Lunch for us is always rushed so we can count on the quick pleasant service and enjoy the excellent menu at Mizu.

More often than not our choice is from one of their Bento Box selections, yummy salmon, vegetarian or wagyu beef - each totally delicious, fresh and in generous portions with misu, rice, pickles, tofu (to die for) salad, beans and main dish. All delish.

Easy parking means we can nip down from the Valley in minutes. Never disappointed, not once, in years, and very affordable. I noted last visit that they do Japanese cooking classes as well.

BELLA RISTORANTE

Appalling!

We felt like some classic Italian food so we thought we would try the new Bella Ristorante on Varsare St in Calamita for dinner.

While the menu choices were impressive, the food took over an hour to arrive. When it finally got to our table, our meals were stone cold and looked like they had been mixed together and slapped on the plate with a shovel. I pulled several cat hairs out from my food!

Just as we were offered replacement meals, a loud crash and weeping could be heard from the kitchen. We asked for a refund instead and left quickly.

It might have just been a bad night, but I wouldn’t risk it. Avoid!

Write like you have visited a restaurant, using the photo as a starting point. Tell a story of your experience, talk about food, portions, service, and cost. Be blunt and give a rating!
