This lesson combines all four persuasive lever lessons into one. (The benefit of one big lesson is that students can easily refer back to previous topics.) We introduce persuasive character, emotion, and argument (or ethos, pathos, and logos). Looking at examples from advertising, politics, and history, we break each lever down in detail. But it's big, so allow 6-7 hours in total, and it probably suits older students, Grades 10+.
