In this lesson, students study some noteworthy examples of persuasion and try to explain how they work. Examples include advertising for the 2012 London Paralympics, the Uluru Statement from the Heart, President Reagan's address after the Challenger disaster, and NZ Police's famous recruiting ad. This is more of a summative lesson, so the activities are open-ended. This is a chunky lesson, probably most suitable for Grades 7+.
