In most narratives, characters will want to talk to each other. But why? What are they doing? In this activity, we look at one action characters can do through speech: giving information. We discuss how what information characters give can tell us interesting things about what they know or don't know, and what's important to them. We use a snippet from Fracaswell Hyman's Mango Delight as a model.
